One of my favourites! After watching Mark and Rob for a year or 2, the buggy skills were finally starting to get better and better for many of us. We could all get big air now and not bend wheel bolts every landing! Of course this just meant the pros went even bigger and more extreme just to keep us on our toes! I guess this was my first properly edited film,it has a start middle and end. This vid also features a classic moment that has come back to haunt the rider many times! The famous Everitt scream! Jim was filming us all and Mark went into a trick, he caught a second gust and went shooting downwind…backwards. I was in the buggy near where Mark ended up and you can hear me laughing as he lands. I decided to keep the scream in and it works so well with the music. Making a quick cameo in this film was a young rider called Craig Sparkes. Little did I know that in just a couple of years time he’d be among the top riders in the world.
